It is a strict requirement of all filmmaking families traveling around the world to deliver a short film about the Great Wall of China. We frankly had no choice. Please enjoy.

Wow! I did not know the Great Wall was so long. Looks like you got History and PE taken care of, the day you visited the Great Wall!
Comrades, you’ve all done well! Congratulations . Carry on….love,Aunty Wendy

Karl, I’m worried about your heart splattering doll! Are you OK?
Yes, I’m recovering quite well from my own heart splattering incident. Still nursing a few aches and emotional bruises, but I’m up and about, eating mostly solid foods now. Thanks for your concern.
We all must remember that there are some risks to following a blog that takes you around the world…;-)

Oh, OK, now I see that Jennifer had the first heart splattering incident. The brown panda is what we in Australia would call a ranga…same as what we call our red headed Prime Minister
I loved this.., especially that it was “state sanctioned”!
And the music was also wonderful! Great job and quite an accomplishment… not an easy climb from what I could see! BRAVO!!!!!
thank you for this! when i went to the great wall i got very sick (and if those bathrooms are still the same you will sympathize) so i never made it past the entrance.
Weren’t you surprised at what an emotional experience walking on the wall was? Anyway, t was for me. Does seem like they’re were a lot of people, however.
You guys are amazing!
Did the government make any revisions to your original director’s cut?
Very cool!
What a wonderful adventure you’re taking! It will be locked into your children’s brains and hearts forever. I send good end-of-year stuff to you all … and a smidgen of jealousy (30 years late). Envy and love,
